Registration for a Lifesaving or Instructor course covers a half year; classes start in September and January.
Prior to July 16, candidates from Returning Families will be accepted. New families will be accepted starting on July 16.
Pre-requisites
Please be sure to check the pre-requisites. The pre-requisites are required by the Lifesaving Society and the Canadian Red Cross, not by NTAC.
Lifesaving Society pre-requisites: Quick Enrollment allows for the input of the candidate’s Lifesaving Society 6 digit alphanumeric code. This code can be found on a permanent certificate issued by the Lifesaving Society (i.e. Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion etc.)
Canadian Red Cross pre-requisite for Instructors: Quick Enrollment allows for the input of the 8 digit numeric code found on the permanent AWSI certificate issued by the Canadian Red Cross.
Proof of age and first aid certificates which cannot be input into Quick Enrollment must be scanned and emailed, or photocopied and mailed to the General Manager. Permanent certificates which arrive after registration should be handled in this way as well.
Courses completed without the proper pre-requisites are considered null and void by the governing society (i.e. Lifesaving Society or the Canadian Red Cross.)
NTAC is happy to provide clarification regarding the pre-requisites.
No swimmer will be admitted to class unless registration has been completed. Absolutely no documentation or payment will be accepted at the pool.
All registration is on-line using Quick Enrollment. A valid email address is required. If necessary, you can create a free email address, otherwise use an email address you check regularly. To register for a program please click on the Register button below.
